Crossflo Systems has subject matter experts and real project experience with both the Global Justice XML Data Model (GJXDM) and the National Information Exchange Model (NIEM), the adopted XML-based standards for Criminal Justice and Homeland Security information sharing, respectively. Many federal, state, and local agencies in their RFPs for data-sharing initiatives now require conformance with GJXDM and NIEM.

Crossflo is also the nation’s leader in the construction of Information Exchange Package Documentation (IEPD). An IEPD is a set of documentation describing the usage and best practices for sharing data with GJXDM and NIEM objects, also known as sub-schemas. Crossflo has directly contributed to the development of IEPD’s for GJXDM/NIEM objects such as Field Interview Reports, Arrest Records, and Bookings, just to name a few.
